How to Open Files
Learn the different ways to open and import 3D models across Web and iOS platforms.

Web Platform
On the Web, you can easily load models using the following methods:
- Drag & Drop: Simply drag a supported 3D model file (or a folder/ZIP containing the model and textures) from your desktop into the browser's viewing area to load it automatically.
- File Picker: Click the "Open File" button in the center of the page or on the toolbar to select the 3D file you wish to view from your system's file manager.
iOS Platform
On iOS devices, we leverage the system's file management capabilities for a seamless import experience:
- Files App (Document & iCloud): By tapping the open button within the app, the system will launch the "Files" app. You can select your model files directly from "On My iPhone", "iCloud Drive", or any third-party cloud storage linked to your device.
- AirDrop and Share Sheet: When you receive a 3D model in other apps (such as Messages or Mail), you can use the system's "Share" feature and select our app from the list to open it directly.
